Riders Rental provides a rental car service to individuals who want to drive on the Riders platform and earn income, but don’t have access to an eligible vehicle. Through this program, you can rent a car from select rental partners and begin driving with Riders without purchasing or leasing your own car.
In order to rent a car through Riders Rental, you must meet the following criteria: be at least 21 years of age, have held a valid driver’s license for at least one year, have no major violations over the past 3 years (including DUI/DWI), and pass a background check. You must also agree to certain terms and conditions that vary by rental partner.
The cost of renting a car through Riders Rental will depend on the rental partner you choose and the type of vehicle you select. Most rentals include unlimited mileage and 24/7 roadside assistance. Additionally, all cars rented through the program come with comprehensive insurance included in the price.
The minimum period that you can rent a vehicle through Riders Rental is 28 days, but you can continue your rental up until 90 days if desired. At any point throughout your rental period, if you need to end it early or extend it longer than 90 days, please contact your rental partner directly for more information on the available options.
No – there are no additional fees for starting or ending your rental outside of normal business hours! However, please note that different locations may have their own policies regarding late returns, so be sure to contact them directly before returning the vehicle after business hours.
